The team
The On The Rock team is young, solid, dynamic and ambitious. We like to work together as colleagues, but also as friends. Together with chef Rutger, floor managers Claudio & Mikki and event planners Merel, Sarah, Michelle & Kim the team does everything to give you a good time.
Hospitality is as important as the dishes or a perfect execution of your birthday, business meeting or wedding day. The teamwork between the kitchen staff, the waiters and the event planners makes it a real team.
Head chef Rutger
In 2014 I started as a sous-chef at restaurant On The Rock (formerly Westeinder Paviljoen) and since 2018 I have the position of head chef. With more than 26 years of experience at restaurant De Voetangel, restaurant De Kersentuin and restaurant Voorbij het Einde, I cook every day with great pleasure at On The Rock.
Floor managers Claudio en Mikki
You probably know us already, as we have enjoyed working at On The Rock for a long time. During your lunch, dinner or party, we will be there to make everything run as smoothly as possible and give you an enjoyable and unforgettable day. See you soon!
Event planners Merel, Kim en Sarah
All three of us - Merel, Kim and Sarah - have been working at On The Rock for several years. Merel and Sarah once started as bar and wait staff and Kim moved straight into the office. We take great pleasure in covering all weddings, parties, dinners, baby showers, other occasions and a variety of business meetings. Our goal is to create an unforgettable morning, afternoon and/or evening together with the guest and to satisfy all wishes. We like to think along with you to make this happen. Hope to see you soon.
